Once you graduate from university, you immediately had a job opportunity. The job was working at a mental institution in Ninjago city. Moving from your family and friends was difficult but this was the opportunity you needed.
The following Monday morning was the start of your first day. You met the head nurse and head psychiatrist, both of them introducing you to the facility. Once the tour was over, you had your first and only patient to meet. You walked up the stairs to the sixth floor and entered in the passcode for the door. Entering and closing the door, you walked down to the only room in the floor. You look at your folder with all the information you have on the patient.
-Lloyd Montgomery Garmadon
-Age: 20 -Height: 5’10
-Report symptoms: Lloyd has shown signs of depression, headaches turn to violent migraines, heightened anxiety, ptsd symptoms from his years of being the green ninja, adolescent behavior, abandonment issues.
You reached his door and slowly opened it. The room was almost empty, only a single bed, a lamp attached to the wall, and a small rug. You saw Lloyd sitting on his bed, his wrists had cuffs causing him to lose him power, “it was for his own safety and benefit”, the head nurse said. A glass wall was separate the two of you, it had a small opening for meals and his medicine. You knock on the wall and smile softly. “Hello there, I will be your new technician and for today I just wanna ask a few questions.” Lloyd stay silent for a moment and then nod. “How are you feeling today, any headache?” Lloyd responds was cold showing no emotion, “No headache and I’m fine.” You wrote down his words and then ask more questions about his appetite and if his medication was causing any problems. His response were short and only the bare minimum.
Once the meeting was over, you said your goodbyes and wave to him before leaving. Lloyd watched you leaving, his fingers folding a paper into a paper flower. As night approached, he kept on thinking of you, how you were the first person in a long time to actually smile at him. He didn’t get a wink of sleep, all he could think about was you.
