And then there were Three
Billy approaches Creepy Cave, holding a little someone in his arms. She is a brand new bat animatronic. The majority of her fur is black, but her limbs, cheeks, and the outer edges of her ears are streaked with slime green stripes. Her heart-shaped nose, her belly, her wings, the insides of her ears, and the fluff on her head and chest are the same shade of green that makes up the majority of Billy’s fur, and the darker green fur on her head was styled into small pigtails held up with white ribbons. Poking out just below her nose were two tiny slightly-sharp teeth on her upper jaw. Most curious of all were her eyes. They were a vibrant gold in color, but due to her pupils being completely white, they appeared to be gold rings in pools of pure white.
“Boris, if you can hear me, please come out, but don’t try anythin’ scary! The new animatronic Ah wanna introduce you t’ gets spooked even easier than Ah do.” Billy calls into the maw of the haunted house. The little one he’s holding turns to face him. “Are you sure he’s in there?” The Maine Coon nods. “Sure Ah’m sure, Baby Bea. We meet here every night.” “How many nights is that?” “Too many t’ know the exact number.” He replies with a chuckle, pressing their noses together for a moment, coaxing the bat to squeak. “So is it a million bajillion nights?” “Nah. Definitely a smaller number than that.” “So what’s Boris like?” “Well, if Ah love him with all mah heart, Ah’m sure you will too. He might not look it at first, but he’s a huge sweetheart. He’s definitely gonna love you as soon as he knows who you are.” “Really? Yaaaay~!” Beatrice stares at the entrance intently. “Hey, Boris, are you okay in there? Don’t be shy! Come out! I wanna meet you!”
