Okay I get that the Sir Billiam’s mansion is theorised to had been where the egg is nice cause ya know, the egg is there.
But like, I much prefer the thought of Ranboo and Technoblade exploring the forests in hopes of finding an un-pillaged mansion for more Totems and instead stumbling across Sir Billiam’s “small mansion”. It’s falling apart, cobwebs everywhere and completely abandoned. They explore and find the egg room (Not yet knowing the purpose), but all that’s left is some dead vines. The egg had to move on for survival.
They originally planned to burn it down, just like they do with other mansions they come across. Just a little reminder of where they’ve been. Yet they can’t bring themselves to do it. They feel an attachment to they building, so they leave it untouched.
Maybe they’ll never return, or maybe some days they’ll come back to tidy it up, rebuild and restore it to it’s former glory. Find more of the hidden rooms, fix redstone when necessary. They could find books written by one Sir Billiam, diaries mayhaps?
Of course if they did find books, what about good ol Karl Jacobs? Imagine the book Billiam writes about that fateful masquerade. Everything is fine about it, but one name is consistently scribbled out throughout. Some pages? Entirely ripped out. It’s the only book in such a condition.
They only reveal this mansion to Phil (and then maybe later on more, if deemed trustworthy) and it becomes a holiday home. Somewhere to escape the hell of the SMP. What originally was an abandoned memory becomes a flourishing home for three lonely friends in the tundra. The egg? It knows the home is inhabited again, but it’s thriving where it is now. It’ll get back there again one day, it will reclaim those it knew even if they’re not exactly the same now.
