The younger deity wanted to be taken more seriously, so chose to push all the childish aspects out of himself and into something he could shut away and forget about).
Once upon a time Apple was one of the Children, faceless and disposable, and after being upgraded went on to form a ‘life’ of his own. He handles all the whimsical views and uses of the internet so his Primary doesn’t have to, in a manner of speaking.
