3Technopreneurship: Technology and Entrepreneurship
This is a continuation in our third week journey. A detailed continuation or narration. It was saturday that week that we decided to have our survey for the startup that we are going to make. We sited some store that is possible to be our Merchant and the first that came into our minds was Ororama. We went there with nothing but ourselves, ofcourse it would be nervous and shameful and also there was a lot of “what if/s...”. Ignored all of that, we entered the mall and ask a lady guard ‘where can we find your marketing?’ with shocked expresssion the lady guard ask why, ‘we have something to propose to the marketing manager maam’. The conversation with the lady guard became a little because it is really a personal matter if just some strangers will asked where to find the manager but in the end she gave us the direction to where we can find the Boss. First step is in the Personnel’s section, they let us entered and borrowed the visitor’s ID but we explained to them first what are we going to propose to manager. Then, they let us passed. We had a hard looking for our destination, the office of the manager but later on we got into there.
Starting a conversation seemed hard except in introducing ourselves ofcourse but we started the way it should be and in the way we knew was right. We told him first about the problem, next was the proposed solution and benefits that the both parties were about to have if this startup will be push through. The interview with the manager was great. They like the proposed startup but they need to ask permission first at the above persons.
The interview or the survey journey narrated above was all about the startup PRESYO NI ! : the first plan A startup we are going to make.
Plan B. The CATCH ME !. This is all about the fish business, the fishermen the, fish dealer and the fish buyer. Since the fishermen will arrived at the fish port early in the morning, we decided to sleep in the house of our groupmate and that is in Jasaan. Why in Jasaan? because the Kimaya Fish Port in Jasaan is just a distance from our groupmate’s house and she also has known some fish dealers, fish buyer and fishermen. Sunday dawn, we were already at the fish port and while waiting for the “tapay-tapay”- that is the fishing boat fishermen use, we conduct our interview with some fish dealer, and fish buyer. Just like the Presyo ni ! startup, the interview went well also. Both parties were interested.
That would be all. Thank you hekhek
