6: Gentle peck

Simone always talks about making Deane breakfast in the morning. Its always at the worst times. Like after waking up with a hangover that is trying to make him threw everything up or the Cajun coming in for sleep after working on inventory for too long. Today -- it was a good morning for such a thing. Apparent by the fact that Deane awakes to a tray of food by his bedside table when his girlfriend shakes him lightly. Groggy at first but soon enough he is all smiles, sitting up slowly.

                 "Y'didn' have t'do tha', babe. S'fuckin' sweet."

Mumbled in a sleepy tone mostly as Deane cups cheeks and leaves a peck of a kiss upon plush lips. Then another, just for good measure. His stomach soon growls and his eyes look towards the food. "Y'better be eatin' wi' me too."

Is there anything about their health they are continuously on edge about? Something they disregard?

Not his physical health, but I don't think Cooper has ever dealt with his mental health. On Earth, it's pretty obvious that he can't just pop down the road for an hour slot at a shrink's, so in that sense he's been forced to deal with things by himself anyway, and it's a habit he carries.

Particularly after his arrival on Cooperstation, he's accumulated a wealth of trauma that he needs to go through, and I think there's a way in which he neatly ignores it. The traumas that give him nightmares - nah, who needs to talk to a doc about that? His wife's death, the list goes on, right up to the simple trauma involved in catching up on so much time missed.

Cooper deals with it remarkably well, particularly if he has Tars (and/or Mann) with him. But not well enough. Nightmares get worse, he gets some dissociation and disorientation from being so out of time. He just trucks on.

      Sasha met Harper when he was brought back to      life.  She was the youngest daughter of his parents      closest friends — and they were about the same age      at that point.  They did everything together from the      moment they met — even dated for a good portion       of their lives until understanding they were better off      as friends.

▲ for an enemy headcanon

Sasha doesn’t really have a set enemy.  If he had to haveone, or any, they would probably be who he was hired tokill off.  He would have to get into the mindset of who hehas to kill to deserve it — therefore making them the enemy.
