Ok I saw this video about ghost techno and I am obsessed

ok so ghostnoblade headcannons
Not a fully formed ghost, just a bit of Techno‘s soul that left when he died and got severed permanently a moment later by the totem
You can feel his presence in the ruins of L’manberg—hear his haunting laughter in the wind and the feeling of being hunted
If you’re looking at the execution spot around the time he died you can see a mirage of his final moments and hear his cry echo through the land
Flickers of green and white light dance at the edges of your vision like little sparks of lightning
In old shattered glass panes you can see him calling up to Philza, straining against his chains and the whisper of their violent rattle rings in your ears
If you‘re standing on stage at the same time, then for a moment your vision flashes white and suddenly its dusk and you’re inside the cage and there’s that horrible, rapidly building feeling of imminent doom. You can see Ghostbur and Friend watching you mournfully and when you finally manage to tear your eyes away and look up it ends in another flash and your hands immediately fly up to your face to make sure you’re still there
He haunts Quackity (and the rest of the butcher army but less so)
Quackity gets sudden dry heat flashes that rip his breath away that he blames on the desert, but feels morbidly that that isn’t actually it. He also has the almost constant feeling of being watched by something feral. Something dangerous
Sometimes in his nightmares about his death it starts when he pulls the lever instead, but then he’s in Techno's spot and he’s used to the fear and doesn’t realize it isn’t his, but he can also feel the anger bubbling underneath and see the boar’s eyes, staring directly into his soul from Techno's position where Ghostbur was originally and then the fury when he shoves the pickaxe into his own skull
Sometimes when Quackity is awake at night the Las Nevadas sign flickers and flashes bright red. Now it reminds him of the prison emergency lights from when Techno escaped
Part of why Quackity hates him so much is because he sees him everywhere. He stands behind him in the mirror and reflections in whiskey glasses and glares at him from the shadowed corners of the room no matter how many other people are there. Quackity thought he was going insane or it was the ptsd from his death but it’s the spirit latching onto his anger and fear and amplifying it
It isn’t the ghost of a poor, executed man, it’s the spirit of righteous vengence across the ruins of Techno’s worst moments, when he thought for a second—just a second—that maybe Technoblade really can die
