sooo in Tecq Satoru was a physics teacher, right? Then his knowlege of physics would be an advantage for survival, like i think he could make simple weapons and traps out of scavenged materials...something like that.

That’s a really good point and a very smart thought. He definitely would have known how to make the most of what was around him, cause he’s very resourceful like that.

Maybe in another world, that would’ve been enough 😔

Now that (i think) reader thinks gojo’s dead in tecq, will she be separating to find that place gojo told her to go to? Or will she be staying with choso and the group?

Does choso have growing feelings for reader in tecq 😥 or is that just brotherly protective instincts coming out

Yeah, so… unfortunately for everyone involved, I would say his feelings are definitely romantic.

Choso is an extremely guarded person to begin with, and in an apocalypse where trusting anyone can get you killed, that instinct only grows. It’s definitely not something that’s loud or obvious yet, because it’s buried under survival mode and a lot of emotional walls on both sides. But I would see his feelings come more from observation than instant attraction. He notices how Reader treats Yuji with patience and gentleness, and the fact that she never makes him feel like a burden in a world that constantly does.

From there, it also becomes what’s been lost. When the concept of a “normal life” disappears (the safety and stability and the idea of finding love), connection starts to mean something different. He sees Reader’s strength, her stubbornness and resilience, and the way she keeps moving forward even when she’s terrified, and that really resonates with him.

So, it’s not fast, and it’s not obvious or “love at first sight”. It’s more of that realization of “oh…you understand me”, even though they’re still basically strangers. His bond with his brothers is its own thing, but Reader becomes the one who sees him, and not just relies on him. 

Is this making sense? Lol. 

Sorry for the mini essay, but I do love exploring characters and what drives them and their actions/feelings. But yes, there’s definitely something romantic there, and its gonna FUCKING SUCK LATER ON, TRUST. Angst, angst, and even more angst.

for someone who normally doesn't enjoy angst, i think tecq converted me bc i have not stopped thinking about it since i first came across it😭 i can't wait for the next chapter, thank you so much for sharing your writing! 🫶

I honestly feel like I haven’t unlocked my full potential to write something TRULY gut wrenching yet. Maybe I should try with tecq 🤔
