With the official Alien Monday video having recently been chosen by Daft Punk, Calvin Harris and Avicii for their VEVO play-lists, a remix of the track was also created by electronic producer Mac Stanton.

After gaining attention for his energetic live shows, which included a three month residency with Club NME at London’s KOKO last year, Ted Zed is excited to announce confirmed festival slots at both The Great Escape and Secret Garden Party (25th July/Temple Of Boom Stage).

Ted Zed’s live shows are impressive and full of energy; you’ll find Ted triggering and manipulating pre-recorded sounds, samples and video projections, while providing live guitar and vocals, backed up by George Cook (Drums) and Mike Hawkins (Bass).

Having been discovered by renowned producer Dan Carey aka Mr Dan (Hot Chip), this led to a deal with BMG and working with Elliot (Bloc Party) James and Martin “Youth” Glover.

Ted Zed is a singer songwriter out of Britain who's been receiving some strong support from respected outlets like BBC Radio 1 and BBC 6 Music. His latest single is titled I'm Gold, and it's due for release on January 5th via BMG. I'm Gold is a captivating, driving listen that blurs genre lines with its use of distorted guitars, entrancing synths, and spacey, crunchy production. There's a Portugal. the Man like vibe due to the psychedelic experimental elements, but also a Crystal Fighters like flavor to its upbeat punchiness on top of all the electrifying production. Interview: TedZed. Something Wizard.

Strolling down Wigmore Street, London in the sweet September rain Sara Jenkins met up with electronic wiz-kid TedZed. Causing something of a stir in certain circles he is a man of many talents and his songwriting is described as having a touch of Bolan, Rundgren and Drake. TedZed has recently signed to BMG and so their offices were a good starting point.
