jeanne had snakebite piercings and i forgt to draw them (and also drew them wrong in her mid curse) in her cursed form but after shes cursed, they turn into actual teeth

also xarias transfem and jeannes enby (she/they) (jeanne doesnt know but she is)

jeanne being enby kinda interests me in the way that even though shes cursed, she ends up finding a sort of comfort in not having a specific "gendered" body. it sort of helps them realize a lot of things about how they used to feel about themself and how they can heal from this change. lowkey might be projecting but what else are fictional characters for /silly

xaria being transfem is also intrigues me especially considering that one interaction she can have with joel. she implies that she has been disconnected from her family which kinda adds to this hc. i can just imagine a closeted xaria being fueled by even more spite than she already is having to tiptoe around non accepting parents and finally cutting off ties. did she have somewhere to stay? had she met monty during this time or was she just solely alone and afraid? imagine how angry she is with the world for doing this to her.

the reason why sybil refers to the astronomers in her dreams as "four men in cloaks" is not because of her vague recollection of her original life and is actually because right after sybil disappeared beryl's egg cracked and she transitioned. how do we feel about this look outside community

dunno why. but ive recently registered that audrey is just a meat cube in the shape of a vending machine. people are gettiing turned into sick ass monsters and you get turned into a rectangle of meat what do you even do

ngl don't really know how to feel about berdly's mom, or at least what kind of implications that have been about her.

if she was a perfectly normal parent, why would berdly have this whole false dichotomy about how being smart is the only way he'll be valued or paid attention too?

there's always "berdly might not see the conditional support his family gives him" but if that was the case,

why was kris the only person to actually help him in the weird route when he's. comatose presumably.

did his parents just not think to call him? he has a cellphone so it's not a "he doesn't have quick communication" thing either.

also does he even have a dad???? there's never a inkling about him or if he's even around or if berdly ever even had one. which could explain some of his backstory in bluebird of misfortune but it could always just be a joint effort on both his mom n dad?

or idk maybe we're all crazy and just pinning this weird teenager's issues on a woman we don't even know.

but there have been many themes of parental issues especially around our protags (lancer though not really elaborated on, susie potentially, kris n most prevalent example, likely dess n definitely noelle)

so why would berdly be any different?

anndddd those are kinda my very unfiltered thoughts on berdly's mom and potentially father if he even exists. berdly has always been a really interesting n relatable character to me so i had to spew some words about what his mom or him could be up too.

k so my brain has kinda attached itself to wounded man and wanted to share a lil hc that ive been brewing up in my mind thats kinda morbid lol

Wounded man before the events of Look Outside had a long history of self harm. Which would give another meaning to him slashing himself other than just trying to free that eye.

I'm thinking the way he turned would be of him cutting and seeing his own face back at him. The cut freeing that eye after he looked outside. Which would explain why he had that knife on him in the first place and why he had that huge gash in his stomach even before Sam came in.

anyway that all i jsut like this irrelevant character that will never appear ever again in game
