biography.
teddy is an unusual name for a child and maybe his parents shouldn’t have named them that after losing a bet with the reynold’s but that’s what happened. his name isn’t theodore or even stupidly, edward. it’s just teddy and he loves being just teddy. they were born to two loving individuals who never planned to have kids but out came teddy. his first four years of life were filled with love and games but sadly one night when teddy was visited the reynold’s, their house burned down. their parents didn’t survive and in a night, teddy was left an orphan.
thankfully his grandmother took him in and they got to stay in moorbrooke. their world was shaken up and the grief of losing their sweet parents so young has never left them. they were diagnosed with depression at a young age and it’s always been something that they’re dealing with. teddy can be a little closed off at time about his own feelings, but they are always willing to lend an ear to whomever needs it. they are full of love and they want to share it with the world.
teddy always admired sandals, and from the start it’s always been there favourite place to eat. they love fine cuisine and always helped their grandmother cook whenever they could. after high school, teddy attended the local culinary school. during school teddy worked as a dishwasher at sandals and slowly worked up so when they graduated, they were a line cook. soon after that, they were promoted to head chef. and when sandals suffered financial problems, teddy was first in line to buy the restaurant.
the bid went through and now teddy is the new owner to sandals. they’ve already devoted so much of their time to maintaining it and maybe even qualifying for a michelin star. one can only hope. they’re coming up on their one year anniversary of owning the restaurant and definitely struggle to step away. he’s a workaholic and getting close to burning out, so they need to take breaks.

teddy’s personality is a mirror, they find it very easy to reflect what the other person wants. they are very sweet and love talking. the only time you can tell teddy is down in the dumps is when they stop speaking. he is very affectionate and loves giving everyone hugs, but always asks consent. they are very easy to love, and love everyone they meet.
on the relationship spectrum, teddy has been dating the love of his life, james reynolds, for the last 7 years. ultimately this relationship will end when teddy proposes, james says no and they figure out how to not be in love with each anymore.
