Shelter Stories: Teddy's Christmas tales 🎶

Teddy: Okay, one of these two you already know, it's my human Liam, with Bob. As you can see, Bob is a very big horse, with an equally big heart. He came to the shelter after his previous owner died, and he is trained both to be ridden, and to pull a wagon. Off the two, pulling a wagon is his clear favorite although a slow ride on the countryside is also fun.

He has the patience of a saint, doesn't mind loud noises, or little kids screaming and running around him. He is a cuddlebug though, and as heavy as his head is, a favorite thing of his, is to lean his head muzzle on your shoulder, and just stand there relaxing with you as company.

Yep, I think Bob will fit a lot of people, so I hope that someone wants this gentle giant in their home and hearts.

Shelter Stories: Munchies Christmas Tales : 🎶

Teddy: As I said, Liam is not the only one to fall asleep being someone's bed. It happens just as often with Rylan when he is here. He does keep saying this is the best place to just get some rest. With him today you'll find Blue and Merry who came here together after their owner got sick and could no longer care for them both. They have always been together, so we want a home for them. Both are well-trained, they behave well, and they like the company of the humans around them.

And as you can see, Merry would like to use you as his bed, if you allow. While Blue loves to sleep along, under, next to, and so on. If it looks pretty cozy to be Rylan atm, I assure you it is!

Shelter Stories: Munchies Christmas Tales :🎶

Teddy: This is a common thing here at the household, and its not just Liam that gets used as a bed as you will see later, but for today, the one using the not so little sunlight, my little sunlight.. as a bed is Donna. Donna is a cat we found in a cat colony, she was pregant when we brought her in, but now, all her kittens have new homes, she is chipped, spayed, and ready for a home of her own. As you can see, she is a bit of a cuddlebug cat. She hasn't really shown any interrest of going back out, and well, can you blame her when indoor is so nice and warm? Also of course filled with comfortable places. She loves being around her humans, although she might need a little time to get used to new surroundings. If you let her, she will sleep in bed with you, and generally just be where you are. And as mentioned, she will probably be an indoor cat, she has no interrest in going back outside. So have that in mind if you want her to be your furever friend and I am sure someone does!

Shelter Stories: Teddy's Christmas tales. 🎶

Teddy: I figured I'd try my hand at this. I know other family pets have done this, so this year I will try and do some. Is this me showing you pets that need homes and some cute random things with my favorite people? Yes, yes it is.

I am one of the lucky ones myself, I was a shelter puppy, and then magically I found my forever human in Liam, and we now work together to help other pets find their furever home!

(At least as much as I can manage, as my irl health is kinda shitty atm, so my focus on anything is low, but I do love Christmas so, I will try)

Teddy: You all ready to meet someone then? Good, let me introduce you to Fleck. Just how old she is or where she comes from, no one knows but her. I have been told that it's not nice to ask a lady her age. She came to the shelter after being found wandering the hillsides, thin and clearly not well. After a month of trying to find anyone she belonged to, it was decided that she would stay with us. Fleck is a friendly lady who loves attention, and you can probably brush her for hours without complaining. She also loved long countryside rides, especially if you find something fun to jump along the way. She also likes other animals for company, and I can assure you she has a comfortable back to sit on or sleep on! So if Fleck here sounds like the horsy for you, you'll contact us, won't you?

Shelter Stories: Teddy's Christmas Tales 🎶

Teddy: This big guy is Odin. Don't worry, he might be big, but he is nothing but sweet. He is a working dog though, which is why his owners could not keep him. The ever famous story of cute puppy being given to a family that has no way of giving him a life he should have. Luckily, his family understood, and after trying to rehome, asked if he could come here. He was miserable in the city, and although the kids will miss him, they didn't go home empty handed as one of the cats adopted them. Odin: Cities are boring and you can't see the stars. You think that my family will be happy with Missy right? Teddy: Yep, being adopted by a cat is a great honor! And as you can guess Odin here likes watching the stars, not that I blame him really. He is more of a farm dog than a city dog as you know by now. He is well trained and liked to patrol his grounds as the mix of breeds he is would like to do. Odin: I make it safe. Teddy: That you do. Hopefully someone has a nice big farm, that needs a good dog to care for it. I am sure someone out there will. Odin: And we can watch the stars at night. Teddy: Yeah, just like we do tonight.
