From my posts I think it is pretty evident that I have very mixed feelings about Tedellen as a ship.
On one hand I think they have one of the most fascinating dynamics in anything ever. There is a mountain of analyses that can be made about their relationship, it is ever expanding and always interesting. I am quite frankly obsessed with them, and I think their dynamic is one of the most important fundamental aspects of I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream.
That being said, them being an actual ship is probably quite terrible. I think their dynamic only works in the situation that they happen to be in. They are so different and so alike at the same time, and it would never work for them as a couple in a regular non AM world. They don't even work as a couple in the AM world. It is just one of those cases where incredibly complex and interesting romantic(or what is perceived to be by Ted) feelings and desires for a relationship(one sided) does not instantly mean good ship. Interesting? OH absolutely. But a good pairing? 😬
Be that as it may, I do not think that it is harmful to imagine this happy version of Tedellen where they would make a good couple. I love seeing content of them together. I like both the analytical side and imagining this unrealistic happy little world, and I do not discourage the mixing of both. IHNMAIMS is rich when it comes to possibility. So while I may not think something is good or a realistic possibility I won't stop myself or others from engaging in it, especially when it comes to the game. The more negative aspect of their relationship in the game is still there but it is far less upfront than within the short story and audio drama and comic.
So long story short, I have complex feelings on it. Do I like this ship, yes. Do I ship it, mayhaps. Will I discourage others from shipping it, no. Will I support others shipping it, yes. Do I think it is a good ship, no.
