during my degree i used to spend days holed up in the back of a caffe nero near my dormitory because the lights were dim and the people working there were fascinating and they had a very good student discount, so i could work there comfortably for hours. today i'm finally getting my exam results and i'm sat in a caffe nero again. and they're playing the same playlist of like gentle walking basses and bossa nova. and i hate to sound like such a shill for a chain business but i've been dreading these results for months and it is very comforting to be sat here again listening to the same songs again
