Orias has four different types of dentition in his jaws.
At the front section, he has thin, blade-like teeth meant for slashing and ripping. The main pairs of canines, top and bottom, are longer than the surrounding teeth. He has 32 of these teeth in total, including the canines ( 16 top jaw, 16 bottom jaw ) Towards the middle section, there are 12 teeth ( 6 bottom jaw, 6 top jaw ) which lose their serrations and becoming more peg-like, meant for gripping and holding. Finally at the back of his jaws, he 12 sharp, thick molars designed for crushing. ( 6 bottom jaw, 6 top jaw ) In total, his primary dentition consists of 56 teeth.
On his smaller, secondary set of teeth, set below and inside of the first set on the top and bottom jaws, all the teeth are incredibly sharp and pin-like, designed solely for gripping and holding on to things. There are 40 of these in total ( 20 top jaw, 20 bottom jaw )
In his mouth, there are a grand total of 96 teeth. For comparison, an adult human has 32 teeth, an adult grey wolf has 42, and a crocodile has 64.
