teen!Sherlock doing research on how to be a good boyfriend and reading an article titled How To Keep Your Man Happy, and telling teen!John all about his findings, like, “The article said in order to keep my man happy, I need to mix things up and not... what?” He’s puzzled as he watches a slow, amused yet pleased grin spread across John’s lips. 

“I’m your man?” John teases, blue eyes glittering. 

Sherlock blushes immediately, feeling foolish and embarrassed, unable to look at his boyfriend, just nodding down into his lap.

And John pulls him close, cuddling him into his chest and whispering, “I like the sound of that,” into Sherlock’s curls.
