(Simba & Lil’ Lightning)
Simba still felt as if the world was rotating around him when he slowly regained consciousness. He tried to open his eyes but the headache which he hadn’t noticed so far now was so splitting that almost made him cry. The teen lion wanted to get up, however, he couldn’t because something hit the top of his head. Simba opened his eyes finally and realized: he was in a cage!
“What?” He whispered to himself while looking around in despair. It was not the jungle around him, nor the savannah! Simba was in a dark room into which sunlight penetrated under the door, making his surroundings visible a little bit.
Ear twitched as he heard two humans talking to each other on the other side of the door. Simba couldn’t understand everything, although he could comprehend some things like something about a movie where dogs would save a boy from a lion - probably from him.
“Wh... what are they talking about?” The teen lion muttered to himself, not understanding at all why he was here but wishing he could go back to his own jungle, to his best buddies Timon and Pumbaa who he missed so much...
...Oh how desperate they might be...
