God’s Works

On March 24th, I wrote about being totally scared and stepping out in faith anyway. I was being intuitively guided to leave something good for something great. On the surface, this doesn’t seem hard. Do I want something good or something great? Well duh! We all would go for the great right?! But what if you can’t see the great yet? What if you see it and feel it in your heart and mind’s eye but it isn’t right in front of you yet? Now, it’s not such a no brainer... right? 

I want to stress that I prayed over this multiple times, fear and sadness were present, a few tears were shed. But I made the move anyway and declared it to be a blessing. What transpired next was AMAZING.

Roughly 2 hours after choosing not to renew my commercial contract, I was emailed by an interested agent requesting a meeting!!! Not only is this a reputable agency, it is also a person who hadn’t remembered, but had been interested in me as a talent years back in 2006! The timing was divine not only because of what I had just done but because the window for me to have received that message had to be then (the professional account he contacted me through was hosted with the agency I was leaving and so it was disabled the next morning.) THIS IS DIVINE MAGNIFICENCE.

I know that people get tripped up when God is mentioned. Well what God are they talking about? Is it my God? I want to say right here and now that the God I am talking about is the God of everything, the energy that breathes us all, the current that has created all of us throughout the cosmos. I am talking about the great I Am. This God answers to many names and whatever name you call it, I love you and honor and acknowledge you. I had to share this because I am filled with praise at this fantastic demonstration in my life and feel it should be honored just like the moment of hardship I confessed to in my earlier post. The Universe conspires for our good. We are loved. Cheers to us going out there and acting like it.
