See, Rorschach’s sexuality is one of the trickiest things about him, and tbh I love to think about it. I’m not sure if it’s canoically stated that he is asexual, I haven’t read anything like that, but I don’t think Alan Moore has said anything concrete on the topic, and his word is the only word I will believe.
A lot of people categorize him as asexual, and I’m not gonna argue against that necessarily, nor am I gonna agree with it just based on some observation’s I’ve made in the GN. I think he’s scared of sex because of his past, and I highly doubt that he would ever actively search it out, but there is this one panel that has very little reason for existing other than to pass judgment on Rorschach’s sexual psyche.
Basically he’s walking down a street in New York, an a naked woman appears in the window of one of the nearby apartments, Rorschach then stares at the woman without commenting, not even in his journal until the woman draws the curtains and becomes a distant shape.
There are some other things here and there, but yeah. I have nothing concrete to say on the subject matter either except that he’s as scared of physical intimacy as he is emotional. YEPPERZ. My heart too.
