Time for another drawing for my old Pokémon fanfiction Foregone Conclusion? Apparently!

I totally chose this scene because it’s the only scene set in a cave rather than a forest and therefore I wouldn’t have to draw any goddamn trees in the background. Yes. Definitely the only reason.

As soon as the Sceptile were well and truly out of sight and earshot, Tefiren suddenly burst out in loud, barking laughter. “They didn’t even see us!” he chortled, looking at Forsira and grinning all over his face. “Did you see that? Whoosh, right past the tree, not even noticing!” He managed to breathe a bit as his laughter died down. “Oh, I thought I might have to step up my game, what with you finding me and all, but perhaps I shouldn’t be worrying so much.” He giggled again. “They make me laugh sometimes.”

@elyvorg suggested I draw an Archopy, her alternate Grovyle evolution that stars in some of her fanfics, and I went with Tefiren from this scene from Foregone Conclusion, in which he and Forsira narrowly avoid being murdered. Hilarious!

I really need to get rid of the eraser shavings that are all over the scanning surface. I also made a couple of pretty obvious inking mistakes here, sadly, and the neck is probably too thick. But I think I like the outcome overall.
