Fan-Casting Biracial Alistair
I recently binge-read Dalishious’s fabulous posts on biracial Alistair. As someone who has a) not actually played through Origins and b) not read The Calling, this was an excellent revelation to me. They even have a wonderful image of how Alistair’s skin color lightened progressively through the games.
There was just one minor issue: because I’m not good at envisioning people without specific references, I couldn’t initially piece together a mental image of Alistair as a cute biracial redhead. It was time to do some self-education and fan-casting. Which brought me to ... Blake Griffin.

Look at him, ready to face the enemy. He’s a 6′10″ (!!!) basketball player for the LA Clippers.
And yeah, he’s got those Grey Warden muscles. But best of all?

I'm in a weird, vaguely angsty mood so I'm dealing with it by watching Heartstopper again, for the 4th (?) time.

The other day, we were watching YouTube videos on the television, and I wanted to show Björn the video of Lorelai stalking the geese, which he hadn’t seen yet.
After that, YouTube autoplayed the next video, which was the one of Izaak sitting on top of Dashiell.
Dash was intensely interested in seeing him and his buddy on TV. And then the cutest thing happened.
