While trying to complete the food journal in Indonesia, a good friend of mine named Singgih brought me to a humble snack gem smack in the middle of Jakarta at Jl Kemayoran Gempol. The snack named Ketan Susu consist of tempeh (deep fried fermented soya beans), pulut (glutinuos rice), doused with kelapa parut (grated coconut) and susu pekat manis (sweet concentrated milk). VOILA! By the grace of God, the taste is beyound recognitions, sedap nak mampus! (Deliciously death) The combo of tempe and the sticky rice litted the soul in me! The humility of the stall is unbelievable, the waroeng (stall) located on a small dark alley the intersection of Jalan Garuda, kemayoran and the queue was amazingly in the loop! Life is good! Totally can live like this! Good soul food! Good energy! Thank you #Jakarta! And so on to the next journey, i left #vietnam #laos to conquer #indonchina peninsular bagpackingtrip. I MUST SAY, the time in #Khmer, #SiemReap, was by far the best, rich experienced i ever had in life! Can't wait to jet-set and visit this countries!!! #wanderlust #bagpacking #ketansusu #tempe #tehsosroasli #rawtravels (at Jl Garuda Kemayoran)
