Tech Level 2: Depths EP (2021)
Good news for everyone: here’s a free visit back to the turn of the millennium when underground jungle and drum-and-bass were top priority. No one can be phased about how much else Justin Broadrick could have in the vaults. He can resurrect many side endeavors and post unreleased albums if and when he wants to and quick. Tech Level 2 had vinyl presence on both Hardleaders and Teknologikal and two of the Depths tracks, ”The Almighty” and “Returned To The Depths”, were meant to be released on the latter but were shelved when Tech Level 2 ended in 2004. The other two, ”The Depths Of Hell” and “Suspended”, may have never been pitched before. Now, they finally have their chance to shine. For those who followed Broadrick’s previous project Youpho, here’s your follow-up.
Six months ago, another legendary junglist, Christoph De Babalon, decided to pry open his vaults and went further backwards to crack open some rarities and previously unreleased tracks, too. Our favorite drum-and-bass artists have been real good to us as of recent.
