She was busy enough with her jobs till Miner committed desertion and theft at the same time by jumping to the Sol system in the long range troop transport prototype. Now all the paperwork to deal with that has been pushed to her desk. She might have not cared about the test pilot before, but after weeks of missing sleep due fileing report after report and midnight calls of conformation; She’s willing to go out there her self and bring him back for trial.

Tekti Anatomy take 2.

They have residual features from haveing evoked fron pseudo-avians, thin bones, a keel to which their pectorals are anchored, and a high chance of hand deformities. Structures that were solid plate wings have be developed into armored plates. It’s unclear which developments were natural evolution, and which were introduced by the fallen empire that uplifted the Tekti.

Natural born Tekti look different from the factory born, but all natural births have been outlawed after their civil war. The civilizations of the local super cluster forced the ban on the Tekti to avoid having the species itself classified as a weapon of mass destruction. This didn’t help their already shaky standings with their neighbors, who historically knew by them as a indiscriminate colonizer caste acting for a long dead empire.
