TEL3 name is inspired by the phrase ‘telling three people’, an idea that first came from our founder, who wanted to grow the business by customers’ word ofmouth. It was a risky move at the time, because the technology was new and wordof mouth marketing depended on the quality of the service. TEL3 accepted thechallenge and started promoting its services with a simple campaign: ‘Tell three of your friends and get free bonus minutes’.
After almost 20 years, TEL3 is still serving its customersand enjoying customers' referrals. The technologyhas upgraded, many new features have been added, and the service has expanded to over 35 countries but only one thing has not changed: Our goal and what TEL3 stands for:
