I have a very random request I suppose?

Do you have any HC's about what Telamon smells like?

✦Quite the interesting request, here are some.

✦TELAMON SCENT HEADCANONS✦

✦His natural scent is that of blood and ash, the scent of the ash being more prominent than that of blood, like a wild forest fire closing in on you.

✦The scent of blood becomes more prominent when he's been fighting, be it against hackers and exploiters or dueling against anyone who dares step foot in The Heights.

✦When he is recently showered he tends to smell of a pleasant pretrichor mixed in with honey and warm bark, reminiscent of comforting campfire cooked meals.

✦There may be times where you will catch him heavily smelling of fried chicken, a sign he has spent multiple hours at RFC indulging in his favorite meal despite the lack of an actual need for food consumption.

✦Telamon does not give himself to perfumes or fragrances, only doing so for situations he considers of the utmost importance for himself. In these cases he tends to use fragrances that cover his natural scent fully and fit the situation. Some designed to bring calm, some simply strong enough to cover the smell of blood and ash.

✦I am grateful for your request, it was refreshing to write it, especially after such an extended period of time without writing. I trully do hope you enjoyed reading through it.

I'm so sorry if this counts as a request, please delete it if it does, but do you have any tips for accurately characterizing Shedletsky and/or Telamon?

✦Fret not, it does not count as a request, I am not the best at giving writing advice as I am by no means a professional nor am I all that much confident on my own skills, however I shall try:

When writing for both, Telamon and Shedletsky, it is important to highlight that while technically they are one in the same, they are both different enough, I mostly convey this through Telamon's habit of speaking in 3rd person, his instense and unsettling stare and his everpresent unnerving smile in contrast to Shedletsky's regular 1st person speech pattern, his avoidance of looking people in the eyes and his warm, inviting and friendly smile.

Telamon's presence overall is scorching hot, commanding and imposing, pressuring even, even when on friendly terms with him, does the fear he command not dissapear. You cannot help but feel as if he is this larger than life being you cannot begin to comprehend.

In contrast Shedletsky's presence is comfortably warm, disarming with safety and friendlyness, relaxing and protecting, even when one has just met him, he makes you feel like a lifetime friend, someone to trust and go to whenever you may need a shoulder to lean on.

Telamon is fight happy, his thirst and hunger aimed at bloodshed.

Shedletsky is content with simple spars, finding far more joy in teaching you the basics of swordfight and later quenching his hunger with a bucket of fried chicken.

Telamon is a God, he knows so and will not falter or hesitate using his power.

Shedletsky, while still capable of most if not all the same as Telamon, almost fears using the full extent of his power, as if doing so would turn him back to who he once was, something he dreads more than he fears 1x1x1x1.

Telamon holds no secrets to himself, he is upfront and shameless for he knows noone would dare oppose him.

Shedletsky hides his past as Telamon and the truth of 1x1x1x1 being his creation, the only ones with knowledge of this being the other Admins. He keeps such secrets both due to fear or judgement and shame, this fear and shame are so paralyzing for him that even though realistically he has nothing against 007n7 and moreover he would be the Survivor he relates to the most, he does not allow himself to be vulnerable amd open up.

Telamon needs not to be comforted.

Shedletsky does not allow himself to be comforted.

✦Hopefully these helped in any way shape or form, at some point it bordered the limits of becoming more of a character analysis, but alas that seems to be the best way I've to explain my thought process when writing for both.

Just wrote a long ass rant about how I don't think the survivors would react like popular fandom (and Shedletsky) think they would to him being Telamon, but then it got DELETED 💥💥💥 Maybe some day, I'll write about Shed being Stupid and DUMB!!(/j) instead 😁😁

I imagine he gets really violent intrusive thoughts/impulses sometimes, but has learned to control those and his reaction to them fairly well,,, SFOTH was a good outlet!! In the context of forsaken, Not Having that outlet anymore probably made it slightly more irritating but we ball

I've talked about this a few times if anyone recognizes me....waves....but he/Tela definitely have like a low empathy thing going on. He just finds it hard to feel for people in certain situations, but he isn't stupid; he recognizes certain situations require a certain amount of gentleness and has provided that if needed. This is especially if he's close to someone since he doesn't wanna see them upset!!! but honestly? He's not sure if he'd reccomend himself as your first choice for comfort, anyways.

Can kinda give off uncanny valley at times. He just got so absorbed in being Telamon that it's hard to be Just Some Guy. Stares for too long or forgets to blink, not reacting how someone 'should' when given certain information, overall just kinda unsettling mannerisms sometimes. He's quietly intense in a way, if that makes sense? Relaxed guy! Super fun! But. Also. There's a feeling you get around him. Not good or bad just...undeniably there.

This one's super self indulgent buttt,,, I think him and Telamon have little horns. As Telamon he doesn't really care who saw his wings or horns (and honestly i just think he has like mildly ram adjacent features like ears and a shorter tail), but Shedletsky is more....not ashamed, but personally disturbed by them. Like gets body dysmorphia I think is the term about it and tends to file them down. Even if it hurts. Yeowch. On the other hand, he super doesn't mind who sees his!! Head wings!!! If you ask really nicely, the SFOTH ring halo thing is a neat party trick ×)

when i didnt know that much about forsaken i remember i had this headcanon thst like. the robe thing basically turned shed into telamon. and he got rid of it cause yeah. but if he were to wear it again he would become telamon again. i think thats a neat idea
