Cannot stop thinking about Cb!falseren (it BARELY exists) vs Hc!falseren (best friends forever). Like it’s such a flip of the dynamic. Ren is a sentimental freak on hc (remembering Falses past bases when she doesn’t, Multipass, brr trophy etc.) and half of both of their s10 content revolves around interactions with each other as their bases and lore slowly encroach and intertwine. Ren seeks her out on hc and one could even say there’s a pursuit of [WHATEVER THEY ARE] instigated by him theough his sentimental gifts. On cb however, Ren doesn’t know the merchant, there’s no basis for their twaddle fest relationship. And his story, his lore on cb has little connection to her, and his character does not actively seek out friendships. So this time it’s dependent on False to be the sentimental one (she reminds Ren shes a Towner, she seeks him out to do farming, she wishes he was there to help her conduct a horse funeral). Idk if we’ll get anything significantly Falseren on cb bc it’s just not the focus, but it’s really cool to see crumbs of a dynamic where False is the pursuer of [WHATEVER THEY ARE ].
