After the dinner where False has Ren take off his jacket and she instantly asks him to put it back on, she worries in the back of her mind that she's only attracted to him because of the jacket. (No matter how much she denies it, she does have a thing for bad boys). This thought lingers in her mind for a while, but it's when they've finally moved into their new apartment that she's forced to confront it.

Her and Ren share a room while Aimsey got what would've been the office had they not come, so naturally, they're sleeping in the same bed. False expects Ren to sleep in a T-shirt and sweatpants, maybe even just his boxers like that first night he snuck into her room, and he comes out of the bathroom in… matching pajamas. Not just that. It's not something plain, like a solid color, or plaid. It's decked out in a Star Wars pattern. He's none the wiser as he goes about his nightly routine, while False just stares at him. He's definitely not wearing his black leather jacket—he's wearing the dorkiest thing imaginable—and what should've been a feeling of reassurance for her is instead a feeling of horror when she realizes she's still very attracted to him. She does not talk to him for the rest of the night because of how confused she is over her feelings about this. Then he makes her breakfast in the morning and the pajamas are forgiven.

In a random conversation, he later reveals him and his mom love the movies, and False can't hate something he connects with his mom over, right? She slowly comes to like them—dorky as they are—cause it's just another passion of Ren's she's come to discover. …She'll always prefer him in the jacket though, just to be clear.

guys i think i have a type with my straight ships. just maybe XD

but yeah captainswan was like my first ever ship that i ever cared about, so i just thought it was funny how many similarities i noticed in their dynamics, in how i write them at least lol. even in reality, like the constant push and pull of "you're being an idiot, but you're also my favorite person / i'll make a fool out of myself cause it makes you smile" i thought also matched up pretty well lol (depends on the angle you look at them of course, but that's what i enjoy about them lol)

anyways yeah just was thinking about them lol. maybe i should rewatch OUAT again (it's like my favorite show of all time it's literally the best)
