Bill has seen worse injuries, not to minimize the young man's suffering. But the vile hell of war was nothing but a constant reminder of the fleeting nature of existence. Death surrounded, death purveyed, and the wounds were ghastly. No other Korbinites were so gifted as him to be indestructible warriors entering the battlefield uncaught. A warrior, though he may be, this does not make him any less gentle.
The smaller form is easily dwarfed by Bill's massive frame, scooping him up with one arm with relative ease. This little warrior was a fighter, but he needed to be brought to a more safe retreat before he was tended to. Which Bill obliges for, pulling back a ways on the field of battle, using his larger frame to shield from further damage.
"This will not be pleasant." An understatement, surely. But Bill does not linger on it, trusting in the young man's word, and with two thick fingers, grasps upon the intrusive material, pulling it out without much flare. Immediately, his other hand is clamped down around the wound (the entire thigh, truly) to supply compression in the moment to slow bleeding. "How long does it usually take to heal from such wounds?"
the future. it was a fascinating concept to them, not one that was too unfamiliar either. taro's systems were built with the idea of predicting things like this; although it was nowhere near as advanced as it could be to predict everything--and definitely not accurately. it was more of a really good lie detector, or situation guesser. it was good for in the moment decisions. they wish they could do something like predict the future.
still, it made them curious.
" do you think there's a me here that's not me from the present. i'm from the present. but if this is the future, do you think i exist still? theoretically, i shouldn't be dead. i should still be functioning. i was built that way. "
was it weird to think about? they were probably the same, probably looked the same, too. they were sure they had gotten to their final look based off of the way they were built--grown.
" or maybe someone just found me and took me apart. my makers, and all that. or is that not how this future stuff works. is your past different from my present. "

how would you describe your oc's core aesthetic? // Liz??
Ask about my OC's!!
Oh man, Liz's aesthetic is very much "Pink / Main Magical Girl in a Shojo Anime" girlie. She loves cute skirts and hair accessories and she doesn't care how she has to make it happen but she still has a billion phone charms and keychains and purse accesories.
Her aesthetic is very cutesy, girlie wants to feel cute and look cute and be a godforsaken menace to the people she loves.
Gremlin but anime about it!
how would other characters describe your oc? // Liz ??
Ask me about my Specialest Girl(TM)
Annnoyyinnggg.
Like, I love Liz, she's my top favorite OC ever, my baby girl. But she can come off as selfish, childish, vapid, super annoying, and otherwise just in her own head. She actively likes annoying people and she's a nonstop energy machine. She's peppy to an irritating degree and not everyones cup of tea for certain.
But like. . . she's my baby. . .
She's signifigantly more chill once you're used to her, but that takes more time then most people are willing to put in when it comes to her.
you’re awfully … popular lately .
❝ huh ? ❞ popular ? THAT'S NOT HER. it's more of gwen's wheelhouse.
❝ i think you got the wrong person. ❞ LIKE HE DOESN'T KNOW HER.
you're bleeding - oh my god , you're bleeding. // 4 Luz
" oh this? no problem. " luz grins as she places the band aid on on her own arm. she grins, trying to look strong. not still bleeding, injured, and even a little upset by the results of the duel. it has been a while since she had actually lost anything.
" i've gotten way worse than that. " luz waves a hand dismissively. but she's still trying her best to ignore the fact that the bandaid already needs to be changed. maybe it's a little bit worse than luz had thought.
if it makes you feel better you have a … very nice top of your head :)

he guesses he could be --- maybe even should be a little more insulted , but when you were niwa daisuke compliments and even the most meager attempts at softened-blows of kindness were sparse and few . there's no grudge burning in his expression ; just a quality of self-disappointment . he touches the top of his head as if there was in fact something there to decorate it , half-expecting to come into contact with the carapace of an insect rather than the tough strands of his familiar hair .
' thanks ... i mean , thank you --- i think ? ' he's not sure what else to say . he can hardly see the other's face without hurting his neck .
