Mami VC: Taro, set timer for 18 minutes...
" mami...not you too. are you fricken kidding me... " <- setting a timer for 18 minutes.
always such a shame when arrivals come with more destructive circumstances. it's first time arriving on this poor planet had lead to something similar--although with artificial destruction by a paranoia plagued one eyed man. it supposed this world was very lucky that the percentage chance of something going terribly wrong was so high that temporary disrespect was met with a unit's kindness rather than any form of wrath.
predictive data had begun to flood before the crash had occurred; each possibility ringing between a mechanical mind as he took in his present surroundings. to live in a moment while living both galaxies away in thousands of billions of years in the future; incomprehensible to most living minds, and mechanically breaking to most systems. a curious wonder came if it were to upload even a fraction into this ... ah what was it called, ihi yes; ihi-om-02. an intention to be kind--polite--came first, even as the little thing reacted so sporadically in it's own sort of way. he had half the mind to not say a word, let a machine run circles around the idea of an angel simply blessing it's presence by merely existing.
--but then, unit hated to be cruel; and the path taken that way would be utterly boring by comparison to talking directly. although choosing specific terms would prove better results than letting everything come back in droves.
it wasn't sol's time to be joined into universal utopia. sol had an unfortunately low chance of being around in it's entirety by the time that happens. and how sad! he enjoyed how against the mold sol seemed to be. how often the paths forked in unpredictable ways while he remained in even close proximity of it. surely his creators would have enjoyed studying them; even if ultimately they would be too volatile to keep around beyond pets or novelties of fascination. a society stuck between defying the odds and being halted by it's own self destruction. he just hoped that he wouldn't have to be the one to end it all--let them destroy themselves; and let him watch for utopia to learn from.
" i could look differently than what i do now, actually! it's hardly the same as what you function however, kali. more of...adaptive shapeshifting according to the necessities of a diplomatic predicament. of course, not the same; but nonetheless. "
it wondered how much of that would be processed after the minor inclusion of personal data; he could predict it of course--and he was--but it was terribly silly to watch the scenario occur in front of it; let the odds run forward. even as odds were always weighed in universal utopia's favour.
the following question caused the smile to fade into a thoughtful expression, glancing up towards the sky while his eyes so briefly flashed a vibrant blue, then back to white rings amidst a pale blue.
" oh! i wanted to see how sol had changed, in the 'flesh'; as people say. i can't stay long i'm afraid...but a short visit will be enough! "
a pause, then a smile with the bow of his head.
" and yes, it was my doing. you can be sure of that, kali.. "

“ Tell me another, ” Ashley murmured, staving off a yawn. His eyes were half-lidded, cheek pressed against the cool floor, breathing slow and shallow. He was tired, sleep deprived, but he always was when he came over for stories. One may assume he had started coming to be lulled to sleep by stories, but it was the complete opposite. The stories kept him awake, staved off the sleep he feared so much. Plus, he liked Thor’s voice.
Lifting his head and leaning on the side of the bed, he propped himself up enough to see Thor’s face. “ One of valor and battle this time, have you any left. Mm, maybe you can speak of the realms after that. ” Fingers climb up the bed, tracing shapes on the back of Thor’s hand. Another sign he’s tired ; he’s being affectionate, in the small ways that he does. “ Lest your voice is worn from speaking so much, or your ears tire of hearing yourself speak. ”

“ Promise you won’t forget about me. If we somehow get separated, if something happens, promise me you’ll remember me, okay ?? ”

“ I went to the beach today, ” Carol spoke quietly, voice muffled by the mask covering her face. She kept her gaze cast downward, too nervous to look up at Natalia. Carol was slowly adjusting to life here, pursuing her interests as was encouraged by some of the members of the team. Now, she couldn’t remember most of her interests, but she knew she loved the beach. The smell of the ocean, the little creatures with their little legs, scurrying across the sand. It was all so cute.
Reaching into her pocket, Carol withdrew a rather sizable shell, keeping her gaze cast downward as she held the shell out to the redhead, hand trembling with the action. “ I got you a shell. It was red, like your hair. ”

Dozens of Terran years had passed since they’d last been in contact with SHIELD; since the Second World War had he been in contact with Howard Stark, one of its founders. An enormous red semi with blue flame decals might have stood apart in the streets of Manhattan, but the drive from their own base at Sector 7 in DC had given Optimus had his compatriots time to think, to wonder. Disaster loomed high, bearing with the heavy weight of eons. As if something was set to crack. Into the enormous atrium that appeared a lab beneath Avenger’s Tower did they take pause, an audience of humans paying witness to the complex whirring mechanisms as the autobot transformed, looming stories over them all.
“I am Optimus Prime of the Autobots, from the planet Cybertron. And I wish to speak to whom is considered leader.”
