For redeeming, could I get an app like textfree to use for the phone number? My number says it's in use on too many accounts which it isnt
We didn’t know the answer to this, so we touched base with our contact at Viggle. This is what we heard back (and there is hope for most):
That error message does not always mean that it has been used on too many accounts. The message says too many accountsor Telesign doesn’t like the number.
What that actually means is that Telesign has the number listed as a Voice-over-IP number, and this type of number is not permitted for account verification.
We have to look into these each uniquely so the best thing to do is for the Viggler to write to us [email protected] and include the phone number that is being rejected.
Viggle can access Telesign and look into what is happening. Be sure to add something like “Telephone Verification Error” or similar in the subject line of your it maybe sticks out a bit. It sucks that in the interim you might be able to redeem, but at least you know there’s an positive end to it.
