hello grete 🦉.

there is this type of origami called modular origami and you make units and put the units together to make 3D structures.

like these ones in the photo above are all made with the same unit put together, but some with more and some with fewer. the unit used for the ones above is called a sonobe unit and it's pretty simple to make.

and then there is this other type of origami called tessellating origami which is really difficult in my one experience. and i was going to make a bunch and use them as units to make a big one but just making one unit was hard in a not so fun way so i gave up.

3: Favorite musical artist / group you started listening to this year?

for me it was kinoko teikoku. i decided to try listening to a song by them i think on jan 1st this year actually and then my friend recommended one of their earlier albums and it was really good so i listened to more of them and i've been listening to them all year ^_^. their earlier stuff is more shoegaze and their later stuff is more pop like i think. i would recommend them to anyone interested!!!

22: Favorite place you visited this year?

i visited portland this summer because my brother lives there and it was really nice. i liked the weather and it was pretty green for a city. it also had pretty good public transportation and a lot of nice comic book stores which i liked. also i guess it was cool to see my brother.

dick grayson robin!!!!! my favorite for him is idk i like a combination of things for him i guess... i like the silliness of teen titans (1966) but for more serious stuff i like dark victory and robin year one.

roy harper arsenal!!!!!! my favorite series for him is the arsenal mini and i also like him in outsiders (2003) a lot. a fun fact is that i like to imagine him as a butch lesbian.
