  “I wasn’t.” Klaus says, still not entirely present in his conversation with Five. His mind is still wracked, distraught; b r o k e n over what happened.                  Dave…          gun fire….     blood…

Number four closes his eyes tightly against the images that bombard his brain; too much too quickly. He drags both hands over his face in an attempt to ground himself and when that doesn’t work he finds his brown patched fur lined jacket sitting across the room and lifts himself from his bed to reach it. “Look, if you don’t mind - I’m really not up for conversation right now.” His tone is dismissive; detached. Five might mean well ( though it’s more likely got to do with his mission to ‘save the world’ - but what does Klaus care about that right now? HIS world is already gone, stolen from him ) but he doesn’t care about what his brother means to do, he just wants to numb the pain, stop feeling; stop hurting.

           Absently number four’s slender digits dig through his pockets and a small wave of relief washes over him when he finds a left over baggie of something hiding inside. Klaus damn near takes the entire thing - well aware that many pills could very well lead to another overdose, but again; he doesn’t quite care. So instead he lets fate decide and when she deals him three little heavenly doses of pain relief he swallows them easily, head falling forward just afterward - his mind heavy with trauma, desperate for the bliss that will wash over him in a few dozen minutes.

I honestly! really admire the creativity behind Astrid. She's a really unique character and you do a great job if considering how her powers impact her while not making them the only thing about her? And that takes a lot of thought and hard work.

this honestly makes me so happy ! astrid is my very first oc ever , and before creating the blog i actually did some research about ice related things and also draw some sketches and made characters board because i really wanted to do her justice — even if she’s not a canon character . the idea for astrid came from a dream i had like weeks ago , and is also inspired by various iconic gloves using female characters ( queen elsa and theo crain being one of those ) so i really hope to have enough time and muse to expand her characterization and background . thank you so much for the feedback <3

After the unfortunate circumstances surrounding their previous nanny ( oh debbie! Such delicious malice simmering under those blonde tresses.  )  they had refrained from reaching for the phone book once again. Besides, the children had learn’t to get along. A little too much camaraderie, as Mrs Buchanan had put it over the phone. Really, she didn’t think there was a problem at all! Who would might something as harmless as an alligator on their front lawn?  But an argument had ensued & the authorities had been called & so here she was, interviewing a candidate on a sickeningly sunny Tuesday morning.  @telltaled // ACCEPTING

❛ i must be the best person you know. ❜ from klaus!

          ben thinks about it for a brief moment :  the best person he knows??  hardly.  it makes him wonder if his brother is trying to mess up with him or if he genuinely thinks so ( and how fitting it is,  that neither of those surprise him ),  but in the end he does not bother trying to find an explanation because ——— when has that solved anything,  with klaus?? NEVER.  the thought of patting number four’s shoulder,  or clasping his hand,  comes with the intent to comfort him,  like when they where kids,  yet his intangible form still deprives him of touch.  a roll of dark eyes and a chuckle would have to do,  for now,  even though the feeling they convey end up being the exact opposite of what he wants to express.  ‘ not really, ’ and it’s the truth,  none of it sugarcoated,  because it’s the only thing he has left ;  klaus is a mess and,  unfortunately,  far from being the best person he knows,  but at least he’s not the worst.  ben has a few other people in mind. ‘ but if it makes you feel better,  you’re the best brother i know. ’ and that,  too,  is the truth.
