Did you know Southern California has a pretty popular wine region? Temecula is a rather young and up and coming area for wine. Overall there are over 40 wineries that produce Italian, French, and Spanish varietals. . . This photo was taken at Briar Rose winery where they have a replica of Snow White’s Cottage! The owner of the winery used to work for Disney and therefore has many Disney influences around the winery. . . Happy wine Wednesday again! In Southern California there is a smaller wine region, Temecula. It’s also a big resort destination and they have some awesome places to stay at. A rather newer wine region, the first grapes were planted in 1969 and wine production began in 1971. The first Temecula winery opened in 1974 and the area has grown ever since. Temecula has over 30 wineries.
