"A-Alright class, please pay attention," Alphys nervously spoke like usual, and waited for everyone in class to settle down. "W-We have a new student who will be joining us f-from now on. Give a welcome to S-Sei." The door then opened at the name.
"Greetings everyone, it's so nice to meet you! My name is Sei, and I just moved here yesterday. I hope we can all get along and can be great friends!" Sei spoke cheerfully with a bright smile as he adjusted his glass's slightly. "This is a wonderful town, and a wonderful school."
"Well, you can have a seat next to Catti," Alphys motioned to the empty desk that had been placed to the left of Catti early this morning before school started.
"Okay!" Sei happily walked over to the desk and sat down. Putting his textbook, notebook, and pencil neatly onto his desk. "Hello, it's nice to meet you Catti," he said holding out his hand and shaking it.
"Your brightness is a beacon in the darkness, guiding others to a better path," Cattin said then shook Sei's hand.
"I think we'll be good friends. Beware of the two beasts." Catti and Sei then began chatting.
“I don’t know how you do it.” Said one of her regular customers, a young lady by the name of Lettie. After making a purchase of Angel’s latest batch of eclairs, she had to try one for herself.
“Every new recipe you try is better than the last.”
“Thank you Lettie.” Said Angel “But really I just put the same effort I always do.” She explained as she competed the transaction.
“So any big plans tonight?” Asked Lettie. Though she was a regular customer, Lettie had grown to become a close friend to Angel. And each time she came to visit her, she’d ask the same question. Only for her to give the same response:
“Sadly no,” Angel shook her head “even though I’m not busy tonight, I can’t afford to just go out on the town. Besides, I have nothing to wear that isn’t covered in flower-“
“Alright missy!” Said the blond, “You’ve been cooped in this bakery for far too long, you deserve a fun night out! Now here’s what I’m gonna do, I’m going to come after closing with a spare dress of mine, my makeup kit, and we’re going to the finest club in New Meridian. One of the preformers there is awfully cute, who knows maybe he’ll notice a couple of good looking ladies out on the town.”
Of course just as Angel tried to protest, she was gifted with a finger pressed to her lip “And I won’t be taking no for an answer. You’re gonna have some fun tonight.” After casually thanking her once more for the eclairs, Angel was left in shock. Was she actually going to go to a club? Just what was Lettie planning for her?
Eventually as the hours passed, Angel’s worries slowly began to die down. She had clients to serve and chores to finish after all and she couldn’t spend them worrying about her friend.
But just as she was settling in after closing the bakery.
KNOCK KNOCK KNOCK
Looking up, Angel was half expecting a last minute client. But no, it was Lettie, making clear that she was keeping true to her word. Dress bag, large makeup kit, and a large friendly smile.
She was serious…
Though part of her wanted to retreat into the living quarters of her bakery, Angel knew in her gut that her friend was right. And the only way she was going to have any fun was standing just outside. Besides, to not let her in would just be rude So hesitantly, she let her in.
After what felt like an eternity of a makeover, she and Lettie were finally finished. While Lettie was done in a soft and lacy pink dress and big lashes, Angel was given a elegant sapphire blue dress to match her eyes while her makeup was kept natural and her hair was slightly curled to make a soft wave. Her ears and tail brushed to perfect fluff.
The dive was rather exciting. All the while Lettie let her in on what the club was like. It was an elegant place. No loud music or creepy dudes here. Just a fancy place to sit back, relax, and watch the show. Surely it couldn’t be all that bad.
Though she stayed by her friends side as they stepped out the car, the moment the two were granted permission inside, Angel fell tempted to wander off to look around. Never before had she seen such a glamorous and elegant establishment before.
Thankfully Lettie guided her to their table before she could wander off. It was close to the stage. But she didn’t complain, the music the band played was relaxing. Certainly far from what kind of music she expected a club to play.
After receiving some drinks, Angel would learn that the preformer earlier mentioned that day was preforming tonight. She had to admit she was awfully curious in what the fuss was about.
After a little convincing from @dimensionhoppinghybrids , I have decided to try bringing one of my Pokémon muses to Tumblr. He is a bit of an odd one, but I hope someone will find him entertaining. He is a Cubone with a lost identity, going by Reclaimer.
Rather than the normal skull mask most of his kind are wearing, he hides his true face with that of the visage of Giratina, both as an honor and a punishment. The reason it is a punishment is because when he was young, the Cubone had stolen the griseous orb from one of Giratina's temples, unaware that he was being watched by bandits. When the bandits tried to take it from him, the foolish Cubone smashed the orb into many pieces. Angered, the bandits beat him up and took what shards they could and scattered. Returning home, he would discovered an angered legendary waiting for him.
Giratina, angered by the boy's transgressions punished him severely by cursing him with undeath and promised him the only way he would be free and he can see his parents again is if he were to reclaim the orb shards. Accepting responsibility for what occurred, Reclaimer was branded as Giratina's cleric, given a new face to wear, and a walking stick. With all that said and done, he wanders the world looking for the shards and receiving guidance from his patron in the form of visions in reflections.
Meanwhile, Giratina slowly begins to regret his hasty decision, wondering if the boy was even ready for the task. Years passed, which is pretty much where any interactions would occur. If you have any questions, feel free to ask.
The others had already taken their quarry and disappeared into the night. The little thing had put up quite the fight, considering it hadn't used any magic. But then again their extensive research and observations had them knowing when and how to strike at the right times. After he fell unconscious, they moved into part two of their plan, scaling the buildings and heading north. Only to split off into three different directions after a couple blocks.
Now, 'Prometheus' as he was called currently, had headed east, only to double back.
"Any signs?" Crackled a voice over his ear piece.
"Nothing. All clear for the moment." He muttered back as he leapt from one roof to the next. Soon, he was back where they had jumped the creature. Gazing down at the alleyway, it was still silent, only the sound of the breeze as snow fell gently to the ground. Good, the snow would cover their footsteps hopefully sooner, rather than later. Still, one couldn't be too careful.
So he set about crossing over their exit. Then crossing back, turning left and going for a distance, then turning in a different direction. Any time there was possibility of being seen, he laid low, ducking down behind duct work or slipping back down to the street and back up a different building. They had to make it as confusing as possible for others to follow and unfortunately…
He drew the short straw. So it fell on him to protect the others as they escaped with their prize. Though he still wasn't entirely sure why they had to keep him alive now. They spent years building their case file on this thing and now they just take it back to their hideout for now? He hated the notion. With a deep sigh, he finished his job to his satisfaction and made sure to head in the opposite direction for a while. The time to meet up with the others was still a while away, so he found his cache of clothing and changed, shaking out his tawny hair before methodically shredding his stealth suit and tossing it in a dumpster.
Shoving his hands in his pocket, he casually left his hiding place and went about his night.
