I need to know something! Can Template hug pet animals like dogs or cats longer than 3 seconds or not???

As long as he's the one in control and can decide to stop whenever he wants, it might be uncomfortable to him but he would probably be able to - if he really had to.

It starts to become difficult for him if he was the one getting hugged, and then it doesn't matter whether it's a cat, a dog or a plant. Any living organism hugging him would be very stressing to him.

The same thing can be said for Template and Error although Template just reacts with massive confusion and dismay while Error is just annoyed by it.

I know you stated that Template targets Errors of any kind from any au if they show any sort of sign of danger. Does this include any other perhaps dangerous sanses and such he considers as anomalous and a threat to the multiverse? If he thinks it’ll benefit the multiverse?

Template specifically targets Errors, no exception. Whether it benefits the multiverse or any AU in specific is of no interest of him. If a problem isn't caused by an Error, he'd even leave an AU die without even flinching.

Hello! This has been on my mind for a bit. Does template geek over every version of Ink? Good and bad? Or does he pick and choose. I’ve wondered this because he doesn’t seem so starstruck around pale even though he technically IS an Ink, right?

Yep, Template doesn't gush over every single version of Ink.

He either idolizes them, recognizes them as swap versions (which means they are probably "evil", like Pale) or, if they fit neither category, he might declare them as impostors.

Very rational, if you ask me.

Then I noticed something ... Template and Pale are very similar, namely in their abilities. What I'm talking about? Look: Template's pen can erase anything, and Pale's ability can drain the timeline, thus "erasing" occurs. The same thing happens, but in a different way. Quite unusual (this is my bad english, sorry :( )

Yes, I agree! They do have similarities and perfectly display that the "how" is important.

"Good" and "bad", "right" and "wrong" are always subjective. While Template wants be seen as a hero and he wants Pale to be seen as the villain, things are not that simple. While Pale's motives aren't harmful, he still destroys AUs because of his desire to feel something and he has no other choice. He is often oblivious to the fact because he lacks the ability to care. Template on the other hand actively will use his ability to erase other Errors because he is convinced that it's the right thing to do and, even if he doesn't admit it, gets a thrill out of it.

They are both quite selfish when you think about it.

Pale is 3’8 (111.76 cm). How tall is Template in comparison?

(I don't like giving exact measurements regarding my characters because sizes might differ due to art style and headcanons, so I'd like to first point out that the measure given here is not canon since there are no canon heights to begin with.)

Template is a tiny bit taller than Pale, which may or may not be due to Pale's usually bad posture lol
