(Edited) Carmuel/Samucarla why it was so GREAT!!!

These couple got me obsesed this season. They stole the show. I’ve spoken to so many fans of the show, and seen so many things online about how they were expecting to see more of Nadia and Guzman or Ander and Omar and ended up just caring about Carla and Samuel. 

There are so many reason this couple became so attention grabing this season. 

1)THE SURPRISE FACTOR: Since season one ended i started specualting what might happen in season2, and one of the big incogitas was Samuel’s new love intrest. Carla was out of the picture since she was with Chirstian who i had no idea would be leaving so soon in the season, and my only idea was a new love intrest in one of the new characters (which was kind of right considering Rebecca, i will wirte more about her later). So when they kissed in episode three it came out of nowhere, and even though i was screeming “KISS!!”, I also didn’t know where it was coming from, which brings me to point 2.

2) IT WAS OBVIOUS AND WE DIDN’T SEE IT COMING: when you really think about it, this couple was brewing since season 1 and it made perfect sense. Samuel lost a love intrest, Marina, and considering the type of show it is, he couldn’t be in season 2 without one. He is kind of the main charachter and we knew that his arc would be investigating the real murder considering he is the only one who truly believes Nano wasn’t guilty and since it’s hs brother and the girl he loved it was kind of up to him to solve it. 

Carla’s realtionship with Polo was oficialy over, i mean they had already broken up and he killed someone. And her realtionship with christian wasn’t gonna last long with the weight of Polo’s secret. We knew it was eating Christian up inside and that would cause a tear with Carla. Yes, they could’ve found a way to fix their relationship but lets get back to Carmuel.

Afet Christians accident Samuel knows Carla and her family have something to do with Marina’s murder. So investigating her is kind of obvious, and considering Carla is all about manipulating with sex their realtionship doasn’t seem so out of nowhere anymore. But the fact that they made it so surprising, catching everybody off guard, made it even more amazing.

3) CHEMISTRY: Why this couple worked dispite making everybody feel like it came out of nowhere, it’s because not only both actors are great, but they also have great chemistry. The wirtters and actors made a completley new and unexpected couple grow closer and fall in love in just 7 episodes. They are so beautiful in every scene. And samuel and Guzman’s whole plan was based around Carla’s feelings for Samuel. 

We could see them tremble at every touch, at the same time they try to manipualte eachothers feelings for their own intrest. The funny thing is, they both know the truth, Samuel knows she is guilty and tries to make her break, while Carla knows Samuel is investigating her and tries to shut him up through sex, instead of just getting away from him. But at the end of the day morality wins. Samuel continues with his plan knowing he would loose Carla because he ows it to Marina and Nano, while Carla ends up going to the police because she cant handle the guilt of Samuels “disapearance”.

4) THE ENDING: when the truth is revealed, the game ends. The crazy thing about that scene in the police station is how both behave knowing it’s over. WE know it’s over, at least for now. That relationship was going to go 1 of 2 ways, either Samuel infinitely dates Carla too find out who the real murderer is, or he get her to reveal her secret to the police (which is what happened). There was no other possibility, he wasn’t just going to forget the whole feel and have a normal relationship with her. But what that ending really told us as fans is how tough is going to be for them to be together again. Carla is was too proud and she lost, the only reason she tells Samuel “you never had me” which is obviously a lie, is because it’s her way of hurting him a bit too. Making him feel like not only did he fall for her and then lost her, but also that she never loved him in the first place. Samuel won the game, but at least she hurt him a bit, made him feel he lost something too.

5) PERFECTION: this is more of a conclusion. Samucarla is perfect because it was so shockingly passionate and sexy. For the first time Carla had someone to match her cunningnes and smarts , someone who kept up with her and wasn’t as easily manipualted as Polo and Christian. Every scene they had was filled with desire and fire, a constant fight within them s going on when they’re toghether, and the best thing is how they talk everything through, and are aware of the complexity of their situation. I don’t know how they will get back toghether cause Carla is too proud and wown’t let it go so easily, but im excited to see. 

Can’t wait too see more of the in season 3!!!!

I always find it so hard to get through the second season of Soy Luna. There’s just so much unnecessary lutteo drama, and it makes me sad :(
