communitas is so often lost in all of supernatural because they’re either enforcing the hierarchal violence or having it inflicted on them. they can’t go through any experience of communitas because any connection they have is either thrown into violent messed up power imbalances or literally just killed for existing. how else are they going to never find something to make significant in liminality?
