Temporary Project : Developing on from Blueprint Workshop (06/12/22)

On Monday I did the blueprint workshop so today I developed the blueprint I did a bit further. The blueprint I did was of my scoliosis so I decided to add words that I associated with my scoliosis experience (body temporarily distorted with medical condition) in an attempt to make the piece have a greater impact on the viewer.

I thought that the threaded non-fluent words show the sharpness of the pain felt by those, including me suffering from scoliosis. The red really pops against the cyanotype making the words and this mixed media piece more powerful and effective than before.
