Hi, I have a very specific craving for a fic and idk if such a fic even exists (or if I’ll have to try to write one 😭), I’ve been searching through AO3 and some tags on this blog but couldn’t find anything like it, so asking is my last hope.

I’m looking for canon universe AUs where Keith is presumed dead/goes missing/temporarily dies, so basically it’s the reverse situation where it’s Shiro who’s searching/grieving/doing anything it takes to get Keith back (it doesn’t have to be a role reversal AU). Additional welcome tags: mutual pining, feelings realisation, S7 to post canon.

Then, a singeing sound as the beams impact and Shiro hears his own voice scream out. Keith.
