what was the last board game you played?

no idea actually.  I haven't played a board game in a while... probably power grid at my brother's house last year sometime.  I play a lot of card games though, and the last card game I played was probably either crib or taboo.

um I'm currently reading the Golden Compass, does that count?  I'm almost done.  AND I LOVE IT THIS IS LIKE THE TENTH TIME I'M READING IT PROBABLY ALTHOUGH TBH I'VE LOST COUNT.

2.  What is your favorite season and why?

Um here it is spring and in edmonton it's fall.  I love the summer and being able to wear shorts and tank tops all the time and everything, but a couple weeks of 25 degree weather is enough for me.  and spring here is really beautiful even if it's also rainy.  fall in the river valley in edmonton is GORGEOUS and it doesn't rain much.  I haven't spent a summer in edmonton though so maybe if I did, summer would be my favourite.

3.  Describe the view from your bedroom window.

about six feet of grass, the fence, and then my neighbours' house.

4.  What are the three closest items to you?

not including my laptop, it's my phone, my vancouver mug, and my sister's ihome.

5.  What is your guilty pleasure?

I don't have any, really, mostly because I find pleasure in the same things a lot of other people do so I don't bother feeling guilty about it.

6.  If you could choose a fictional character as a roommate, who would it be?

luna lovegood

7.  Have you ever met someone famous?  Who?

I met the lead singer of the zolas, but they aren't famous so I don't think that counts.

8.  What is something that everyone seems to love but you hate?

uhhh one direction?  and I don't really hate them, I'm just totally uninterested.

9.  Do you have a phrase that you tend to say often?

HAHA so many.  I say cool beans all the time, along with not gonna lie, to be perfectly honest, for the record, and sometimes I drop the classic sheepshead ones like megatronstront.  as for ones nobody seems to have heard of, I say things like "it's raining to beat the band."

10.  What is the last thing you verbally spoke to someone?

um last night audrey and I talked on skype about cons.

11.  What is something you take pride in?

um wow I have no idea.

most of the trees that line the streets around here have grown a lot since we moved here.... like 16 years ago, and one of the best things is standing at one end of the street (especially the ones that curve) and looking down the street and seeing how all the trees are orange and yellow and red and there's still some green mixed in and it looks like fireworks or maybe like they're on fire and it's really beautiful in a simple kind of way.

2) What has been your favorite music you’ve been listening to lately?

not including the Dr Horrible soundtrack (which has dominated my playlist for the last 48 hours), I'd say Kenny Chesney (album: When the Sun Goes Down), Sara Bareilles (album: Kaleidoscope Heart), and a few miscellaneous songs by bands/artists like Foster the People, Hey Ocean, Mother Mother, and KT Tunstall

3) What character from any of your fandoms do you most identify with?

Probably either Dean Winchester, Stiles Stilinski, or Donna Noble

4) Why?

All three have pretty big self-worth issues, for starters.  And Dean's attachment and dedication to his family and his friends is something I really identify with.  Same with Stiles, actually.

5) What talents do you have?

Uh.  I'm good at music, when I actually put in some effort (I'm rusty now, because it's been a while since I did anything except choir).  And I can write, sometimes.

6) Salty or sweet?

Both but never at the same time

7) What fandom are you looking to get into?

None right now.  I mean, if I come across something that looks interesting or if I see a lot of one fandom on my dash I might start to watch or read, but for now I'm content to wrap myself up in spn, dw, tw, and hp, with a splash of himym and friends.  although I'm considering starting suits actually.

8) Do you have any scents you particularly like?

THE SMELL OF CELERY

9) Favorite object you have in your room?

Saying my laptop is lame, so I'm going to say my His Dark Materials and HP sets (THEY COUNT AS ONE OBJECT OKAY I DON'T CARE WHAT YOU SAY).

10) If you could choose your last words, what would they be?

uhhh I DON'T KNOW.  I don't WANT to choose my last words, I want to just die and not worry about something like that.  the last thing I ever heard my opa say though was "night, all!" in this really strong, cheerful voice (which was pretty crazy because he was incredibly weak and until that moment his voice was really soft and strained) so if my last words are anything like the last words I heard from him, I'll be happy.  or my loved ones will be, I guess.  since I'll be dead.  except they won't be happy because I'll be dead.  so I don't know.

11) Do you have any phobias? If so, what are they?

I have a mild fear of heights.  I don't like insects or spiders, but I wouldn't say I'm afraid of them exactly.
