amelia was accustomed to traveling ; after all, she did move nearly every season between chicago, new york, austin, and any of the other various cities her company was contracted to. what she couldn’t get used to, apparently, was the jet lag that came with long distance. days into their stay on the island, and she was still stumbling down to the lobby straight out of her good night’s sleep — her morning everyone else’s afternoon. today - tonight - whatever it was, however, she was determined to change that. the resort offered a whole menu of activities for its guests ; at least ONE of them would knock her out after and maybe snap her sleeping schedule to where it should be.
browsing a brochure as she paced the lobby, dodging other couples still checking in and sending her dirty looks, amelia eventually stopped to tap someone on the shoulder. “ have you tried any of these out yet? ” turning the brochure over for them to glance at, she freed a hand to indicate down at the entire CACOPHONY of choices. “ i’m looking for something they’ll be offering tonight. preferably something . . . thorough. physically, ” she amended — that description should help to narrow down their suggestions.
