Syndrone.
All of Hershel Layton’s searches led to this city. Alfendi had gone missing. When Commissioner Barton told him that Alfendi was gone, Layton had tried to place his trust in Scotland Yard. But it only took four days for the nearly seventy-year-old man to start conducting his own investigation. His son, his own son, was missing! He couldn’t sit around and wait.
It took much longer than anticipated, but Layton finally found himself in the smoggy, metal-clad city of Syndrone. Factory chimneys scraped the sky and puffed dark clouds into the air. There wasn’t a corner of the city that didn’t have some sort of business near it.
There was a giant plaza in the middle, with dozens upon dozens of people milling about, all with somewhere to go. Layton didn’t even know where to start looking--
And then he spotted it. A flash of bright red, the same red as the hair of the child he raised.
Layton’s breath got caught in his throat, and he quickly approached the man. The closer he got, the more sure he was.
“Alfendi! Alfendi, is that really you...?”

If this continued, Guy would probably end up losing the better part of his mind. He wasn’t one to give up easy. Still... there were some things that were simply impossible for certain people. For Luke it was being quiet. For Jade, it was being serious. For Guy...
Dancing.
“I appreciate it, Jade, but maybe some things aren’t meant to be.” It really was nothing like fighting. All his teachers- before he resorted to his friend- said at first that his grace and flexibility would translate... or that his footwork would be similar. All of them ended up concluding Guy just wasn’t trying hard enough. He was trying, damn it! Guy knew he needed to learn before attending his first ball. but at this rate he might as well head to Baticul and beg Suzanne to take him back as a servant.
Despite his words and the extremely negative thoughts, Guy did try again. He sighed. It was only a box step. The most basic step. Back, together, right, together, up, together, left, together, repeat. He knew the words. He’d only heard it a thousand times, but he could only actually do it at an abysmally slow pace. Even then, he was still staring at his feet like an idiot. Guy stepped back. For the seventh time in a row he didn’t match up his feet together properly, and then his legs were twisted and he clung to Jade for life once more.
“Y-yeah. I think I’m worse than Luke was at seven.”

tempusnarratio replied to your post: [ Amon would be the only one who'd be willing to...
“More like eat as much as you want.” [ Amon simply took his normal place, on the floor, and held out the tray. ] “Chinese restaurants tend to give too much food.”
[She sat up.] “Good. ‘Cause if y’d broken into my house t’ eat without givin’ me any, y’ were gettin’ set back out through the window.” [Lucy took the tray. She already looked eager to dig in.]
“So wot brings y’ ‘ere? Can’t just be y’ need someone t’ eat the leftovers.” [She was, of course, already shoveling the Chinese food into her mouth. Lucy was a veritable black hole when it came to food, after all.] “’Sides y’ didn’t even make a snide remark. Summat’s wrong, aye?”

{⚔️} “W-whoa! You totally weren’t holding that spear a second ago! Where did that even come from?!” The blond haired hero wannabe was staring at Jade with his mouth practically hanging off the floor in shock.
tempusnarratio replied to your post: LIKE FOR A STARTER (( for Otacon? ;v; ))
“Mr. Otacon!” The boy cheered, before latching onto the man.
“I have not seen you in so long! It feels like 50 years! Which is really long! Where have you been? I missed you, you know!”

“So your saying you found this next to the dragon gate? Hmm I say we maybe place a few guards there just to grab whatever comes through but it’s too far from the capital or anywhere owned by us to really risk it.”
“Any suggestions Yukimura?” Now while in any other situation this would be a serious talk between the two...Having been brought back some weird full body suit of an animal they had never seen before it was of course going to make the curious queen ever curiousier.
It was brought to the queen and... Over time she lost her curiosity battle and put it on. It was really warm and comfy but issues arose when the ears and tail gained a life of their own.
