Leona wanting to be king and having big dreams about his magic and how wonderful and strong he might become especially if his older brother has some remarkable magic.

and young Leona finds that not only will he never have a chance and many cant stand him, but his magic will naturally destroy what it touches...

Imagine having dreams of becoming something proud and wonderous but nature itself says you are nothing more worth than dust.

The idea that leona doesnt put in the work in part because his magic has shown him that all he can do is hurt. All he can do is make things waste away to nothing, so why learn new magic? why try?

Its an extra kick in the teeth that being second born didnt already provide. Not only is it not worth effort because he'll never be king and get what he wants, but the sevens themselves, the nature of magic, said "your magic is one that only takes, and leaves nothing in its wake."

Like GD that would fuck anyone up, though it depends on when he discovered his unique magic it could have just been a late schooling nail in the coffin moment too. Where not only had everything gone wrong and he had his goal ripped away deom not long after he finally did it he figured out his unique magic something deeply inherit to him. And... all it does is take life and leave nothing behind. Like this man already has severe depression like -- m

While I do have my own, modern designs of the 2p Hetalia nations, I like to think they all will start in these forms in one way or another. Uniforms and human names change over time as they develop as people and as time changes. I like to think that's something all nations 1p and 2p have been through, their hair changes color, their eyes lighten and darken, their personality is reshaped. Its mentioned in the HWS introduction that sometimes they will even wake up and just be a new person, which is deeply interesting, but also rather terrifying to think about.

I think its so interesting that canonically nations are a fixed time point but also are constantly changing to the will of the people that make them up. It's just so interesting. I think just like 1ps, the 2ps are necessary to the people's mindset. Without the 1ps, it is said that the people of a country will become lethargic and lose their sense of culture and identity, willing to stop caring about everything. I like to think without their 2ps, their people will lose their sense of pride and will become apathetic, allowing themselves to be taken advantage of.

A certain level of anger is in us all. And I think a lot of what the 2ps hold is volatility, something that the 1ps don't. I think they need eachother, even if they hate eachother.

Was pulling out all my references and thought I would share, since the outfit you see him in now isn't the outfit 2p Germany / 2p Romano are known for. If it is reassuring, they will wear them, eventually. Once we get into that time period, but just like in hetalia, their outfits highly depend on the time period.

I will admit they may not be fully accurate military regalia, I use a lot of reference material for those who are into military reenactment and photos of people from the time period. I might occasionally post some headcanons about what they were like during this time too, I think its a lot of fun to think about the nations during different periods. Its important to consider what good and bad they've done, you know? No history is without demerit, and if someone tries to tell you that they're lieing to you.

okay what if dex x fem!reader... but walk w me here okay. the reader actually enjoys violence in a way similar to dex (for lack of a better description) and has directed that towards payback on behalf of other women. i picture the reader being an urban legend in a way and women write to her like kids write to santa but instead of for christmas, it's after a traumatic event. she kills abusers, rapists, assailants, etc......
