King Dice? Can you die of a broken heart? Is it possible to die of sadness? Emotions can either increase or decrease the production of important hormones such as adrenaline. Adrenaline has the effect of narrowing the main arteries, putting a person in a situation where they may die of heart failure. I'm just curious to know about depression and other negative emotions can cause heart attacks and strokes that can lead to death.

“Are you sure I’m the best person to ask this? Also I think you have one thing wrong, adrenaline narrows peripheral veins so the blood can be concentrated in vital organs.

Also I’m not entirely sure if Adrenaline is the best example of hormones you produce during depression or as a response to broken heart. Adrenaline is more flight or fight hormone.

But I’m not a doctor. So what do I know.

* same goes for any monsters who’ve had depression or anxiety or the like. it makes our health and strength dwindle, but won’t ever be the direct cause of death. it’s why i was considered the weakest monster.
