Introducing Fablevision, a Dungeons and Dragons, fantasy-esque AU created by @lapisdragon01! Here there be bards, rogues, dragons, and tales of yore- sung to you by your ever so gracious, handsome, and entertaining bard Mr. Puzzles! and penned by @starteas, too, I guess.

RULES

This blog features and mostly focuses on Mr. Puzzles, but the rest of the SMG4 crew are open for questions!

This blog is strictly SFW.

Shipping is tenative, but not outright discouraged!

Please be patient with asks! I may not be able to get to every one right away, and it heavily depends on whether or not I'll be doing drawn responses.

OOC: Hi everyone, the blog is going on hiatus for a while. I am currently going through a very bad mental health episode and need to take some time for myself.

The Renewed Secret event will be wrapped up when I return to the blog. Thanks for understanding.

An OOC ask,

So how’s puzzles doing, did he get back in his body soon or are these recent asks taking place before the current lore ones

OOC: He is still trapped in his body via the Renewed Secret event, though admittedly I may cancel the current storyline and have him wake up sooner than initially planned.

I've been dealing with a plethora of mental health struggles as of late and I don't think I can finish what I set out to do in a reasonable timeframe, yet I don't want to keep the blog in a "limbo" so to speak. I may make a post detailing what I had in mind as a compromise and give a few small lore tidbits about Puzzles there, as anticlimactic as they may be.

Look, I know this is probably a really bad time to say this, but you seem calmer now, so just try to stay calm and for the love of the gods don't focus on your current appearance right now. Just take deep breaths and name five things you can see, four things you can touch, three things you can hear, two things you can smell, and one thing you can taste. I know it probably sounds weird, but it works.

You can't be serious. Do you SERIOUSLY think something like THAT would work on me?! I'm not some emotionally stunted CHILD in need of a THERAPY SESSION!

Oh dear. She was just browsing the interdimensional web- and stumbled upon something absolutely horrifying. A Puzzles had been reverted back to flesh. Just the thought alone had her scratch at her arms, clinging onto her precious shell.

There was the option to pen a message to him. Would it be overstepping...? Especially while he's...like this.

"Dear Mr. Puzzles of Fablevision......we may be complete strangers, but with what's happened to you, my heart felt compelled to send this message.

Never give up.

Spread your wings, preform once more- you may think you are back in your cage, but I know that no matter what comes your way- you will always do everything it takes- to claim your right to exist. To finally live in a body that can be yours.

It is so vile- to be cursed to endure the same agony you've escaped long ago. But I believe in you. And I believe in your loved ones, who will always be there through each step of the way.

I hope my words bring comfort, even if a little.
