On it’s own? Nope. Sadness however great, does not kill...What causes us to fall... to turn to dust, is loss of hope, of belief, of the desire to continue to try.A monster with a broken heart is liable to seek out and find ways to end themselves though. They have both ability and motive to believe that there is nothing left but to finally leave this world they live on.So.. is it possible formonsters to die of sadness?Yes. Some of us... I include myself in this, for without the help of those close to me... without the aid and determination of my friends... I would still be nothing more than dust and a soul in another monsters laboratory. Some of us... see nothing left worth saving of ourselves and we seek and find some pretty inventive and creative ways to fall without drawing attention to ourselves.So if you know a monster you suspect might indeed be sad enough or heartbroken enough to die...Please... -help- them.Give them reassurance that they matter, that they are important,and that they are worthy of life and have something to live for....They seek that reassurance more than you know.. More importantly than that though..be patient with them, and if you suspect they are leaning towards dusting... dont’ let them be alone with their thoughts.... they will plan and plot, and they will find a way... they need your friendship and love more than ever at that moment in time.
