The worst history teacher ever - teaching WWI
We just started to learn about World War I on history and I'm simply astonished because of my teacher's behaviour.... Astonished and embittered and angry.
We learn about pointless battles in which millions of people died for nothing, watch photos of soldiers and trenches, ans she just keeps on enthusiastically prattling about how many great discoveries they made for military equipment, and she says it's sooo cool because later we started to use them in the everyday life... My whole class just sits there and you feel that strained, sad atmosphere, and nobody's talking with the other by their side - which is completely unusual - and it seems like she just doesn't understand what she's talking about. Not really.
This makes me very disappointed and bitter. I've learned during tha past 3 years that she's not a good teacher and that she has something completely mixed up in her head about her subject... but I wouldn't have thought this.
Because, really, I don't care what she's saying about inventions, but honestly, could you be enthusiastic while looking at this?:
