I should learn German so I stop bugging my friend to translate every time I find an awesome song. You should check out the song Fur Immer Punk by Hladno Pivo. my mom keeps calling me a girl, like "my girl" and "you're a cool girl" even though i keep telling her to stop because i am not a girl, and this last time she got kind of mad at me and asked "then what on earth am i supposed to call you??" and i got mad too because is it really that hard to avoid gendered words altogether????
but then a while later she asked me "can i call you a zirl?" and i was like "... yes. yes. you know what, yeah, totally."
zirl works for now, if she needs a word. :3
