Appleton, Wisconsin natives Tenement are a band recognized for their ability to write intelligent punk rock albums that fuse aspects of folk, country and pop rock without losing any of their edge. In 2012 singer/guitarist Amos Pitsch showcased his versatility as a musician when he played drums with power-pop heroes The Nerves on their reunion tour. The much revered Tenement manage to mirror The Nerves in their ability to write tight, poppy, punk songs without writing pop-punk songs.
